1. Boaz put the LORD first in his business, and because of that it prospered well (Ruth 2:1-4)

2. Boaz was generous in mercy and kindness to Ruth beyond what was expected of him. He was compassionate to a
woman who had nowhere to go. (Ruth 2:5-23)

3. Boaz was a virtuous man, and did not defile the bed of Ruth when he had opportunity (Ruth 3:1-9)

4. Boaz was a humble man and was honored that Ruth asked him to marry her. (Ruth 3:10-18)

5. Boaz was honest in his dealings and was upfront with the nearest kinsmen-redeemer. (Ruth 4:1-8)

6. Boaz was a gracious redeemer of Naomi's house, giving up much to take on the responsibilities that it incurred
(Ruth 4:9-12)

7. God blessed Boaz for his faithfulness by placing him in sacred lineage. (Ruth 4:13-22)

8. Boaz was a type of Christ in that he redeemed a hopeless, foreign woman and a widow from their place of poverty
and brought them into comfort and wealth under his wing.

9. The story of Boaz shows forth the grace of God that he chose to be exceedingly merciful to Ruth and Naomi when
he was not constrained to do so. (Ruth 2:10)

"Handfuls of Purpose"

Handfuls of purpose,
that's what Jesus gave to me,
He knows how to make a way
that I don't even see.

Handfuls of purpose,
Just like the Bible said,
fed the crowd with two fishes,
and five little loaves of bread.

Handfuls of purpose,
Ruth gleaning in the field,
Boaz fell in love with her,
to him her heart did yield.
Ruth 2:16

Handfuls of purpose,
a man who was born blind,
Jesus came and touched him,
and then that man was fine.

Handfuls of purpose,
a little man up a tree,
when Jesus saw him, he said,
Zacchaeus, It's time for tea.

Handfuls of purpose,
I sure needed a friend;
He knocked on my door,
I was happy to let Him in.

Handfuls of purpose,
God sent His only Son,
He died to save us from sin,
He died for everyone.

If you don't have,
handfuls of purpose,
get to know the Lord,
after that, I promise you,
you'll get your reward.
